Launch the setup file and follow the prompts for each PC where you’ll be accessing recorded documents and maps. Enter following information exactly as it appears when prompted:
Company: Diversified Info Services Corp.
Account: 220030
Key Code: xxxx (DISC will provide this key code)
After installation and on opening the program, you’ll need to configure a few settings. You should see the following window:
In the DataTree Server Address box, change the server info as shown in the window above.
Click the Communication tab and select the item that best describes your connection to the internet.
Click the DataTrace tab and change the settings as shown in the following picture:
Look through the other tabs and insert whatever info is appropriate and make selections according to your preferences. Then click OK and proceed to log on.
You should see a window like this:
UserID for Data Tree document viewing application will be the same as for the title plant (Data Trace)
UserID: xxxx Password: xxxx
Then you’ll see a pop-up box to “open” an order. Use any number or name you wish (preferably the Escrow number you are requesting documents for). You must create an order or re-open an existing order to request documents.
